An informal e-community of kayakers in southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois, members post announcements of informal get-togethers in a variety of local paddling destinations, and interested paddlers join in.

With such topics as "Getting Together and Paddling", "Trip Reports & Past Paddles", and "Places to Paddle", kayakers here often have first-hand experience with a wide range of regional paddling destinations, and are quick to offer advice to help you plan your own trip there. The experience levels of the forum regulars range from laidback inland beginners to avid enthusiasts who enjoy the larger waters of the Great Lakes.

A recent daypaddle on the lower Wisconsin Dells found a good mix of personalities; an enjoyable time was had by all, and I hope to paddle with them again. With the folksy friendliness characteristic of this part of the Upper Midwest, the Southern Wisconsin Paddlers forum is quick to make one feel welcome, no matter where you paddle.
